Welcome to the debut of my blog, The Duality of The NBA Franchise: The Los Angeles Clippers. I currently attend a college in North Carolina and consider myself a sports fanatic. My goal with this blog is to really address the high's and low's of being a sports fan from my own personal experiences. Ever since I could remember, I loved everything about the Los Angeles Clippers. Growing up in Southern California, basketball was an integral part of recess conversations and when I began to dive more into the NBA I only had two choices, the Los Angeles Lakers or the Los Angeles Clippers. I chose the Clippers, a decision I regret quite often, but grew to love. I've experienced many high's and many low's with this team, but have yet to lose my pride in saying I am a Clippers' fan, so I suppose that stands for something. If you're also a sports fanatic, I hope you find comfort and relatable scenarios that make you feel slightly better about the love for your team through my own personal experiences with the Clippers.

  1. I'm not into sports whatsoever, but to hear you talk about it makes it a tad bit interesting. I didn't realize that you couldn't change the team you originally picked? I can see it has a lot to do with loyalty, but what if you picked it as a kid? Shouldn't you have some leverage to pick differently, now that you're able to make a more informed decision? But maybe that's just me not knowing anything about the sports world. Anyway, glad you ended up loving your team.

  2. I agree with Lucy's comment. I know very little about sports and the closest I come to caring about teams like that would be rooting for competitors on my favorite reality TV competitions shows, but hearing your passion for the Clippers even as a little kid is really cool! I also love this kid picture!
