 The Year That Changed My Fandom For Good

Almost immediately after the moves the LA Clippers made in the offseason, they were on every sports analysis show projected to win it all. They had a tremendous regular season, finishing 2nd in the tumultuous Western Conference. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same for the post-season. The Clippers ended up beating the Dallas Mavericks in the first round to advance to the Western Conference Semi-Finals, where they would lose to the nuggets in 7 games. Not only did we lose, but we did so in horrid fashion. We opened up the series having a 3-1 lead and only needed to win 1 more game to advance to the Western Conference Finals. Unfortunately, poor play from both of our stars and horrible coaching led to us blowing the 3-1 lead and the Denver Nuggets ended up winning the series in 7 games. As a fan, I was flustered, I had very high expectations for this team just to end up losing in the same old fashioned Clipper way. This was my second time watching my team blow a 3-1 lead, a feat that is very embarrassing nonetheless. Below is a visual summary of the LA Clippers Vs. Denver Nuggets playoff series.
